Food is such a central part of my life.
I’m not being funny at that. Not only is food delicious and nutritious, it keeps us focused and happy and prepared. Food releases endorphins and give us nutrients.
Furthermore, food is so central to the way we interact. Meals are central to social interactions. We celebrate things with food, invite people with food, show our appreciation with food. Even our daily meals with friends or family are central moments to our interactions and conversations.
Food displays our traditions and our history. The making of food for generations has united families and passed down traditions. You have recipes passed down from generation to generation where every taste reminds you of home, or of your grandmother who always had a smile.
So when I say I love food, I mean it.
