Squirrels by Frank Thomas, for the Sword in the Stone.
Credits to Deja View.
One of the first movies in disney to use xeroxed images. Disney needed to cut down costs so he could focus on more successful live action films. It was suggested that he cut the animation department completely, however, disney wanted to keep his roots alive. As a result, he fired many painters in the animation department and replaced them with xerox machines in order to keep the department. This caused the animation style to shift from the cleaner lines of earlier times, to more jagged lines reflecting the sketched nature of the animators’ work.
